Up Close & Personal

Charlotte (Seattle), conceptual artist and classically trained mover and shaker, blurs the lines between circus arts and burlesque. With a grounded presence and seasoned dexterity, she invites audiences to enjoy themselves within a theatrically defined space. 

She has presented her performance works in historical theaters, cabarets, bars and even the occasional roadside café, throughout the US and abroad. Her solo works have also been featured at the Umbrella Festival and Oregon Burlesque Festival. Her circus training is a decade and counting, with a focus on aerial hoop, corde lisse, partner acrobatics and improvisational clowning.

Outside of the live performance arena, she enjoys working with children in classical ballet training and previously taught several dance disciplines at various studios within the South Puget Sound region. She has also had the pleasure of working as a dancer on film and advertising campaigns.
